Woman dies after collision with car in Malmesbury, Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses
According to Wiltshire Police, yesterday’s deadly collision happened at approximately 10.15 a.m. Officers are now requesting information from the public.
An 81-year-old pedestrian was killed in a crash in Malmesbury yesterday morning when a car struck her on the A429 as she was crossing at the Blicks Hill intersection at around 10.15 a.m. She was taken to the hospital with severe injuries but passed away overnight. Her family has been notified and is receiving support from specially trained officers.
Wiltshire Police are now appealing for information following the crash. Officers remain at the scene to carry out enquiries and the force are asking for witnesses to come forward.
Police said in a public appeal: “Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam is asked to contact the serious collision investigation team on 01225 694597 quoting log number 76 of yesterday’s date. Alternatively, they can contact the team directly at SCIT@wiltshire.police.uk.”
