NORFOLK — A tree worker is dead after an incident at a logging camp Thursday, officials said.

Tree worker dies at logging operation in Norfolk, officials say
Jon Barbagallo, a spokesperson for Norfolk emergency services, said Norfolk firefighters and emergency medical crews responded to a private property on Loon Meadow Drive just before 5 p.m. for a medical call.
Barbagallo said they found an employee of the logging operation there dead, but could not provide details on the circumstances of his death. He said Connecticut State Police are on-scene investigating.
State police confirmed troopers had responded to the incident but did not provide additional details.
