Tragedy as two people fighting for their lives after serious rollover crash on Route 119 in Winchester
WINCHESTER, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A rollover crash on Route 119 on Ashuelot Main Street near Lost Road in Winchester late Sunday night sent two individuals to the hospital and temporarily closed the roadway.
Winchester Police Chief David Rice reported that the crash, involving a single vehicle, occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Emergency responders arrived to find one occupant already ejected from the vehicle, while two others were trapped inside. Fire and rescue crews worked to extricate the victims, with one person airlifted to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester via LifeFlight and another transported by ambulance to Cheshire Medical Center in Keene.
Police have not released the names or conditions of those involved, pending the completion of the crash report.
The crash also caused damage to a utility pole, requiring Eversource crews to respond and restore service.
