In the wake of a deadly collision that occurred in Camberley on Saturday, August 24, we are requesting any information.

Just before ten o’clock at night, police responded to a complaint of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on the A30 London Road.

Sadly, the pedestrian, a guy in his 30s, was declared dead at the scene despite the arrival of South East Coast Ambulance Service.

The car’s driver pulled over and offered complete assistance to the authorities during their investigation. There have been no takedowns.

We appreciate all of the people who have already come forward with information. We are still searching for more precise details regarding the pedestrian’s movements before the collision. On Saturday, August 24, between 9.50 and 10 p.m., were you on London Road in Camberley between the High Street and Lower Charles Street? During this time, did you witness a White man going about in the vicinity wearing blue trousers, white shoes, and a light grey top?

Tracking the whereabouts of a black Skoda Fabia in the vicinity between 9.50 and 10 p.m. is also of interest to us.

To avoid speaking with law enforcement, you can contact Crimestoppers, an independent charity, by calling 0800 555 111.

Because of reports that were received in the hour before the crash about a guy going in and out of the carriageway, this incident is now being investigated as a fatality after police contacted. Consequently, the Independent Office for Police Conduct has been compelled to receive a referral from Surrey Police.
