Police appeal after man dies in Eccles car crash
Police are appealing for information after a man died in a crash in Eccles yesterday.
Officers were called at around 5.56am to a report of an accident on Liverpool Road, near to Barton Airport, involving a car and a motorbike.
Emergency services attended and sadly the driver of the motorbike – a man aged 46 – was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car, a Ford Fiesta, remained at the scene to assist police.
There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
