Park Royal police chase ends in horror crash with boy, 17, dead and another fighting for life in Redcar
Four males were in the car at the time of the crash outside the Central Middlesex Hospital in west London, with one now dead, two in hospital, and a third not thought to be seriously injured
A teenager has died after a police chase led to a fatal car crash.
Three males – all of whom were in the car being pursued – were rushed to hospital after the crash outside Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal, west London just before 5.30am this morning. A 17-year-old boy died in hospital. Another boy is in intensive care, with the third also undergoing treatment for non-critical injuries. Another passenger was not seriously injured, according to police reports.
The incident led to travel chaos in the area, with several bus services being redirected as police make enquiries and closed the road pending their investigation. An independent probe into the circumstances around the chase has also been launched with the Independent Office for Police Conduct informed.
