Murder investigation launched in Cambridge
An inquiry into the murder of a man has been opened by detectives in Cambridge.
At 5:19 a.m. on Sunday, the ambulance service reported a stabbing in Carlton Way, which prompted police to be contacted.
It was 6.10 am when the man was declared deceased.
Detective Chief Inspector Katie Dounias of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit stated: “We believe the man was stabbed in a targeted attack, but we cannot confirm the cause of death until a post-mortem examination has been conducted.”
While we are investigating and pursuing multiple leads in an attempt to apprehend individuals in charge, no arrests have been made as of yet.
