Mablethorpe crash victim named
A driver who died after his car smashed into a wall near a seaside arcade in Lincolnshire has been named by police.
Thomas Rydiard, from New Whittington, Chesterfield, died after a VW Polo he was driving left the road and hit a wall in Mablethorpe on Friday.
The 22-year-old, who was in the car on his own, was pronounced dead at the scene. No-one else was injured.
Mr Rydiard was the 19th person to be killed on Lincolnshire’s roads this year.
