Hounslow Car Crash Causes Road Closure
A road in Hounslow has been closed in both directions following a car crash, which caused one of the vehicles involved to flip over. emergency services were called to Sutton Lane (A3063), which is where the crash took place.
The crash took place just after 7pm and it involved two cars, but one driver had already departed from the scene before the officers arrived.
Sutton Road has been closed from Great West Road (Master Robert) to Wellington Primary School and there are bus diversions in place as well.
Two other people were taken to hospital, but it has been revealed that their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A police spokesperson stated: “Police were called at 7.13pm to Sutton Lane, Hounslow, after reports of a collision involving two cars, one of which had overturned.
“One of the drivers had left the scene prior to police arrival. Enquiries to trace them are ongoing.
“Two other people were taken to hospital – injuries not believed life-threatening.”
