Didcot boy, 10, dies after being hit by car today, police are appealing for witnesses
The “wonderful son” of a 10-year-old child who died after being struck by a car in Didcot, Oxfordshire, has been honoured by his parents.
In Oxford Crescent, Freddie Perry was hit by a Nissan Micra.
He passed away on Wednesday afternoon after being transported by ambulance to John Radcliffe Hospital.
He was described as “our lovely son [and] was taken from us far too early” in a statement by Lea and Judith Perry.
“He was… a fantastic younger brother to Rhiannon, 14, who has Down’s Syndrome and he doted on her, and to Eloise, 11,” according to them.
“He will be very sadly missed by all. Rest in peace.”
Thames Valley Police urged anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.
