Newcastle United
BREAKING: The CEO intends to talk about the “incredible” Newcastle ace deal in the coming weeks.
Feyenoord wants to retain Yankuba Minteh for the upcoming season. Next month, the Eredivisie winners will discuss the winger’s future with Premier League powerhouse Newcastle United.
Dennis te Kloese, the CEO of Feyenoord, made this revelation while discussing the club’s wish to hold onto a young player who seems to have elevated his game significantly in recent weeks.
Yankuba Minteh, who signed a £6 million contract with Newcastle United from Danish team Odense back in 2023, scored twice in the team’s 2-0 victory over Almere City and also struck the net against PSV Eindhoven, the league leaders, in their most recent match.
The Gambia international has now averaged a goal or an assist every other game in his 18 Eredivisie appearances.
Furthermore, Te Kloese has made no secret of Feyenoord’s intention to engage with Minteh about extending his stay in Rotterdam in the upcoming weeks.
Newcastle United intends to reassign Yankuba Minteh.
