A35 Axminster: Two seriously fighting for their lives after car crashes into tree today
Two people have been rushed to hospital with potentially serious injuries
A collision that closed the A35 near Axminster this morning has left five persons injured. When an automobile struck a tree at approximately 4.23 in the morning, emergency personnel raced to the scene.
Three persons were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, while two more were taken with possibly serious injuries. Traffic is being rerouted via nearby roads due to the road closure.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Devon Live: “Officers were called at 4.23am today to the A35 at Axminster following reports of a single vehicle collision.
“It was reported that the car had been in collision with a tree. Two people have been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries. Three people sustained minor injuries.”
