A35 Axminster: Two seriously fighting for their lives after car crashes into tree today
Two people have been rushed to hospital with potentially serious injuries
Five people have been injured in a crash which shut the A35 near Axminster this morning. Emergency services rushed to the incident at around 4.23am after a car crashed into a tree.
Two people have been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries and three others sustained minor injuries. A road closure is in place and traffic is being diverted through local roads.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Devon Live: “Officers were called at 4.23am today to the A35 at Axminster following reports of a single vehicle collision.
“It was reported that the car had been in collision with a tree. Two people have been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries. Three people sustained minor injuries.”
