A34 closed at M3 after serious crash, 1 dead rescue team battle to save others lives in Newbury
NEWBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say one person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Newbury.
It happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Wallace Hill Road.
Vermont State Police say Daniel Sweet, 22, of Newbury, was headed north on Wallace Hill Road when his Jeep went off the road near Stark Trail and rolled over, ejecting him.
Sweet died of his injuries.
Troopers say the crash is still under investigation and anyone who saw it is asked to call the state police in St. Johnsbury at 802-748-3111.
