The A9 closed in both directions as rescue team attends serious crash scene
A road traffic incident on the A9 at Tomich, near Invergordon, has seen the road closed in both directions
Following the incident, which took place at around 1.30pm today , Traffic Scotland has advised road users to use an alternative route.
As of 1.13pm, Traffic Scotland said: “The A9 Tomich is currently closed in both directions due to a road traffic incident. Road users are advised to use an alternative route and expect longer than normal travel times.”
Police and an ambulance are understood to be at the scene.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
