‘Tragic incident’ being investigated as patient found dead in catering oven at Kettering General Hospital,
In a catering oven at Kettering General Hospital (KGH), a male patient was discovered dead.
The guy died after Northamptonshire Police were called to KGH on Rothwell Road.
Officers blocked off the area where the man was found so they could conduct an investigation, but the death is not being considered suspicious. How the man ended up in the oven has not been made public.
“Police officers were called to the sudden death of a man at Kettering General Hospital,” a spokeswoman for the Northamptonshire Police said.
“We are not treating this death as suspicious and will be preparing a report for the coroner.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this time.”
