Police appeal for information about serious collision on A45 in Daventry
The A45 near Daventry is the scene of a major incident, and police are looking for witnesses and dash cam evidence.
Yesterday evening, at 6:45 p.m., a silver Volkswagen Polo heading in the opposite direction and a white Ford Luton box truck collided on the A45 Flore bypass, which runs from junction 16 of the M1 towards Daventry.
The driver of the Polo, a woman in her 20s, suffered serious leg injuries in the collision.
A 34-year-old Daventry man arrested in connection with the collision has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Anyone who saw the collision, or who has dash cam footage of it or of either vehicle beforehand, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 23000772482.
