1 dead, another seriously injured after Waterbury car crash
WATERBURY, Conn — Early Sunday morning, a fatal two-car crash at the intersection of Baldwin and Lounsbury Street in Waterbury claimed the life of 22-year-old Jayden Gonzalez.
Officials said they responded to the scene around 2:15 a.m. where they identified Gonzalez and the other driver, a 32-year-old male.
Both drivers were taken to a nearby hospital where Gonzalez was pronounced dead while the other driver remains in critical but stable condition.
The Waterbury Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating the incident.
